How it works

Hormone Yoga Therapy is a dynamic flow session that is composed of specific Asana (yoga poses), special Pranayama to stimulate different glands and circulation, Tibetan Energy techniques, Bandas, Mudras, Mantras, Yoga - Nidra & relaxation techniques.

Those dynamic sequences of 40/45 minutes, stimulates ovaries, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands.

​The Pranayama's (strong breathing technique) done in HYT asanas, massages the glands in order for them to produce hormones.

The Tibetan Energy Technique and the bandhas done in the asanas, reinforce the effect we get massaging the glands.

No previous yoga experience is needed to start practicing HYT.

Pituitary Gland (Hypophysis) controls all  the other endocrine glands & influences its growth, metabolism & regeneration.
It produces  FSH, LH, LTH.

Thyroid Gland regulates our energy & metabolism. It produces (T3) and thyroxine (T4).

Ovaries determine vigorous & sex drive. They produce the main 2 female hormones:
Oestrogen & Progesterone. The imbalance between them causes irritating symptoms.

Adrenal Glands secrete many of compounds including Cortisol and Adrenaline, regulates metabolic processes in the cells, water balan-ce, blood pressure etc.
